Onchain · Tax · CFO

Your back office shouldn’t be why you’re awake at 3am.

Accounting structure for businesses serious about owning their money.

Unchained provides crypto bookkeeping, crypto tax preparation, onchain accounting, and fractional CFO support for businesses operating with digital assets.

The problem

Most crypto books are not broken. They were built on the wrong assumptions.

Traditional accounting tools were designed around bank feeds, fiat rails, and clean intermediaries. Onchain businesses move differently: wallets, protocols, stablecoins, custody, swaps, treasury activity, and transaction volume that rarely fits neatly into legacy workflows.

  • Wallet activity gets dumped into spreadsheets and ignored until tax season.
  • Founders do not know whether their books are investor-ready, tax-ready, or just organized-looking.
  • QuickBooks becomes a patch instead of a system.
Services

Built for the exact places crypto finance gets messy.

Crypto Bookkeeping

Monthly close, wallet reconciliation, transaction classification, and clean books for operators who need useful reporting.

Crypto Tax

Business and founder tax preparation built on clean records instead of year-end panic.

Onchain Accounting

Accounting infrastructure for businesses whose financial activity starts onchain.

Crypto CFO

Strategic finance, treasury visibility, runway planning, and founder-level decision support.

Most firms patch the old system. I rebuild the operating layer.

The goal is not more reports. The goal is a back office that makes your business easier to understand, easier to operate, and easier to defend.

Founder

Accounting structure for people building outside legacy systems.

I do this work because I believe in the people doing it. The builders. The founders running on conviction and caffeine. The operators who left stable jobs to build something that didn't exist yet. They're the ones writing the next chapter of how money, ownership, and value actually work. They deserve a back office that takes them seriously.

For twenty years I built accounting operations inside other people's companies. Started at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York. Spent most of my career inside large publicly traded companies, leading global accounting teams, designing close processes that scaled, and rebuilding operations to be stronger and leaner.

Then I chose crypto. Not because it was trendy. Because it was sovereign. And the people building it deserve someone supporting them who actually knows the books.
